Our syrup makers began with a herb garden and goat farm in the mid 1980's in a small Cotswolds village near Stroud in Gloucestershire. Using whatever was in season, within easy reach of their own kitchen, and blended together with some inspired thinking, they created a range of speciality and spicey chutneys, condiments, syrups and sauces. Today the goats have gone and they no longer work from the farm, but they became masters of making “nice with spice”.

We love their experimental approach and the way they share their latest discoveries with their local communities. If "work in progress" gains popular approval, they increase the volumes and grow a popular following.
